Energy Traders Europe response to CNMC consultation on IDAs

CNMC consulted stakeholders to approve the operating rules for the day-ahead and intraday electricity markets and their adaptation to European intraday auctions in order to implement three European intraday auctions, replacing six regional intraday auctions within the Iberian electricity market. This consultation is a follow-up of OMIE previous consultation on the proposed market rules which were then revised and submitted to the CNMC for approval. In this response, Energy Traders Europe reiterates the need of enabling market participants to submit bids/offers on a portfolio basis as a precondition for the development of an efficient intraday electricity market.
