14-07-2026MoldovaThe EU’s gas market rules, including Regulation (EU) 2024/1789, introduce mandatory bundled capacity products to strengthen cross-border trade and support more integrated, liquid and efficient energy markets. Energy Traders Europe supports this objective.
However, regulatory measures can only achieve their intended outcomes when the necessary market conditions are in place. Energy Traders Europe has therefore written to the regulatory authorities of Ukraine, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Moldova, calling for coordinated consideration of temporary exemptions from mandatory bundled capacity requirements at their interconnection points.
